FSA High School State Tech Fair Legacy
FSA High School Tech Fair team did an excellent job once again in State Level Technology Fair Competition on last Saturday. After county level FSA Tech Fair team compete in the state level and got 14 placement based on different categories.

Reading Camp @ Vanderbilt
CMP made its first out of state college trip. CMP team visited the Vanderbilt University and spent a night in Tennessee. Our visit was more than a regular college visit. Student get more in depth information about admission requirements and the school's student body. As Vanderbilt being one of the top colleges, resources available to the students are generous and vast.

UGA Trip
Taking a college tour to University of Georgia was the perfect way to return from Thanksgiving break. We had 21 students join us on a cold and somewhat rainy day, but the tour must go on! We started out at the Visitor's Center and took a bus tour around parts of the campus. We had two fabulous UGA students as our tour guides that were informative and quite entertaining.

FSA High’s first Black History Assembly
FSA High's first Black History assembly was performed by Ms. Foster's wonderful World History students. Being that they only had week and a half to prepare for the performance, it was a success.

Spanish Field Trip

HONORING ALL WHO SERVED
On Thursday, November 11th, U.S. history students observed Veteran's Day with guest speaker Major Ray Schumacher, U.S. Army, Retired. Mr. Schumacher is known to FSA students in his role as the Admissions Counselor at Reinhardt College.

Junior Class Visited Emory University
On Monday, several members of the junior class visited Emory University. This is the first year FSA High School has offered a college tour to Emory, so needless to say, the students were excited! We began the day with a 30 minute presentation by an undergraduate admissions counselor who also attended Emory a few years ago.

Congratulations Model UN Team
FSA High School Model UN Team received 'Award of Merit' in Southern United States Model United Nations (SUSMUN) debate competition which was held at Emory University last weekend. Also, Jackson Morgan received 'Best Delegate' award within his committee.

Student-Teacher Softball
The student-teacher softball game was a huge success on Saturday. The teachers and their families were a dominant force and held victory over the students 17-12. Mr. Thornton and Mr. Van Tassell were the star players of the day, while Mr. Sapp was substituted in the 3rd inning for a knee injury.

Principal Breakfast
The Principal, Mr. Sercan, hosts Principal and Parent Breakfast on Wednesdays and Fridays. Several parents were in attendance and enjoyed a continental breakfast hosted by the PVO.

Junior Night
On October 5th,Our Junior night had quite a bit of attention. Every year we are having more and more juniors and parents who wants to know about the opportunities as early as possible. Ms. Davidson and Mr. Gokkaya did a fulfilling presentation as our school's counselors.

Fall Festival
Fall Festival was on Saturday and it was a wonderful social event that brought the FSA community together. Our PVO did a wonderful job coordinating the events that were included.

College Mentorship Program Reading Lock-In
The College Mentoring Program had their first Reading Lock-In on Friday, October 15th. This primarily academic lock-in provided students with a chance to read non-academic books from The College Board's Book List.
