The Boy's Basketball Teams Awards Banquet took place this past Saturday April 16th... It was a memorable event, plenty of food and lots of fun! Awards were awarded to Quincy Nwabude who received the Most Improved Player Award (Quincy averaged 5.1 points per game and 5.3 rebounds per game), Nasir Shackleford was awarded the Defensive Player of the Year Award (Nasir averaged 3.3 steals per game, 3.5 rebounds per game, and 2.1 points per game), and the Scholar Athlete Award was awarded to Aman Matthews, who currently holds a 3.4 GPA and he scored a 209 on the PSAT's, which is an outstanding score for a freshman. Great job guys keep up the good work! On behalf of the Stallions we would like to thank everyone for coming out and showing their support throughout the course of the season, thank you for cheering us on to a victory as well as cheering us up during a loss.
