The Georgia High School Writing Test will be administered on this Tuesday, September 27th. All juniors and some seniors who have not yet taken the test, will be required to take this exam. Testing will begin at 8:45; therefore, it is imperative that students come to school on time.
The GHSWT measures achievement in the area of writing as a part of the
Georgia High School Graduation Tests. Students must pass the writing test, plus the Georgia High School Math, Science, Social Studies, and English test to graduate. A passing grade on the Georgia High School Graduation Tests plus completion of all credits ensures that students will graduate. Luckily, our highly qualified 11th grade literature teachers have been working thoroughly with students to ensure that our students’ writing skills meet the requirements.
